Please contact the Church Office for additional information on any of these:
Participate in the vital work of setting up the sanctuary for services. Assistance is welcome for both the Weekday and Weekend services. Parishioners may sign up to donate flowers in memoriam or in special celebration or thanksgiving, by signing up on the flower list on the wall in the hallway across from the offices.
Hospitality and Welcome
Never underestimate the power of a smile and a warm welcome! Our greeters serve in our Sunday services to create a warm atmosphere and experience for the first time guest and each member of St. Davids. And after the service, join us for refreshments in the hall.
Benevolence and Pastoral Care
Our mission is to foster a strong sense of community and family by caring for one another in good times as well as in times of need. We express the love of Christ by meeting practical, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Buildings and Grounds
Among many other things, our Building and Grounds team is responsible for the maintenance of all buildings and the care of our Church property. If general maintenance, light construction, painting and landscaping is something you have a knack for, there is a place for you to serve.
Baptism & Confirmation
Anyone who has been baptized is a member of the Christian community. When an infant is baptized, the baby is too young to make the necessary promises him/herself; they are made on behalf of the godparents and parents who promise to instill the Christian values in the child. Confirmation is a special service where the older child or an adult affirms or reaffirms their beliefs.
Kid’s Church is held Sundays. Children participate at the beginning of the Sunday service and then go off for their own activity based Kid’s Church. They join in the regular service during the Eucharist. Kid’s Church welcomes new children and adults interested in teaching or assisting.
Our small choir supports and enhances our congregation in song every Sunday. Accompaniment is usually in piano and the occasional flute. To accommodate hectic lifestyles, practices are limited one hour prior to service. During festive seasons like Christmas, the choir organizes a Christmas concert, open to everyone and invites musicians from the community to be part of the program. If you like to sing or can play a musical instrument we encourage you to come on out and share your gifts with us.
Our finance committee diligently prepares the budget and manages the accounting of the Parish financial resources. They collaborate with the Diocesan Synod office on the fiscal health of the Parish.
As part of our Confirmation program, youth from St.Davids and St. Peter’s engage in an activity based youth program that combines fun (eg mini-golf or an afternoon on the beach) with education.
Mission and Outreach

Ladies of the parish relax at the home of one of its members, the second Friday of every month, around 5:30 pm. They share pot-luck appetizers and discuss what is going on in the Church and the community and find ways in which they can reach out and help.
Men of the parish meet with men from St. Peter’s once a month for breakfast, sometimes with a guest speaker, but always with fellowship, and lively discussion.
